Our practical skills training facility focuses on skills development and training for unskilled labourers or labourers looking to expand their skills and knowledge base. Secondly as soon as the course is completed students are able to commence work immediately. We equip students with essentials using a workshop environment over a period of 15 days or less. This ensures that students are able and competent to start working immediately following the course. We ensure that our students will become company assets as our workshops provides the necessary basic training whilst students are productive from day one. School leavers that want to specialise in one of these trades. Skills improvement for individuals already working in these trades. Courses should be booked at least 1 week in advance. Individuals with Boilermaking, Welding, Rigging, Electrical, Plumbing & CNC Programming skills are very sought after in a number of Industries, and with a formal qualification individuals can choose from numerous occupations. Welder: Maintenance, construction & structural Boilermaker: Maintenance, fabrication, development, construction & structural Pipe Fitter: Maintenance, fabrication, development & construction. After successfully completing the course, students receive a certificate, enabling them to work in the trade for 4 years, thereafter they are able to apply for their Trade Test at Olifantsfontein (INDLELA). Skills are in high demand in the South African economy, creating opportunities for companies that offer training and education services. Launched in 2006 as just a tiny start-up with one welding machine and a big vision to train and up-skill young South Africans to become qualified artisans. The network now offers franchisees a business opportunity to run their own training colleges, using the award winning training methods and curriculum employed by EASTC.
