Our honey is extracted, filtered and bottled in glass to preserve the holistic qualities and properties of this amazing natural product. We process a number of the hive products, such as propolis, for easier and more palatable consumption by our customers.

Our beautiful farm is on the border of Gauteng and North West Provinces in South Africa. Farm Kraalkop is graciously greeted by beautiful sunrises and the days are long and productive on the farm.Sunsets are awe inspiring, and are celebrated with sundowners to toast the end of the day. The milkyway at night is a clear and bright reminder just how small we are and how gracious our God is. Here we build strong swarms, and rest our bees between pollination trips. When we're not busy tending to the ladies, we spend time with our chilli peppers that give just as fierece a sting to the humankind, but that are strangely more acceptable! There's nothing like eating fresh produce grown from seed to fruit on your own land under your personal supervision! Surplus fresh produce goes to the market, or is sold to regular visitors to the farm. We've been growing chilli's, garlic and ginger on the farm for several years. As with our honey, we don't treat our plants with anything that is not natural. No pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or chemical fertilizers are used. We grow approximately eight different variety of chilli's on the farm. Most of our chilli’s, garlic and ginger are processed and bottled on the farm. Any beekeeper worth his honey will tell you that it is a love and passion for the little creatures with a fearsome sting that make him brave the elements, and the stings for the honour of partaking in the golden reward made by these little creatures. Jourdan Honey Farms are beekeepers in the true sense. We have more than a few swarms, gathered over the years that are housed in beehives we built to keep up with the growing demand. We have a farm that we love and where we tend to our bees, and welcome curious visitors. We have extended our services to the general public, offering bee removal services to residential and industrial clients. We also support emergency call centre's, insurance home assist programmes, body corporates, municipal and government crisis control centre's. Over time we have developed a beautiful range of products from the bees and the hive, all of which are on offer direct to the public. Our products are made as close to nature as possible, with as little treatment as possible, and are filled with all the healing and health properties you would expect. We at Jourdan Honey Farms love to talk about bees, and will engage anyone who’ll lend an ear. We offer several programmes to curious individuals from school presentations to mentorship programmes. We welcome visitors to our farm with prior arrangement, and encourage them to partake of the activities on offer, or to browse in our farm kitchen stall to take a memento home.
