The Wood Foundation is the South African campaign for the promotion of forestry and wood. It aims to promote the suitability and sustainability of wood as a building material to the construction sector and associated professionals such as architects and design engineers. The campaign works on behalf of the whole timber industry. We exist to give you the facts. It also has an important role in supporting market development in other wood product manufacturing sectors.

A professional association of forestry related professionals geared towards delivering a professional service to forestry. The Paper Manufacturers Association of South Africa (PAMSA) has been promoting the interests and efforts of the South African pulp and paper industry since The Thatchers Association of South Africa was originally established in 1997 with the intension of being accepted as the national voice of the professional thatchers trade in South Africa. The ITC creates and maintains the highest standards in the engineered timber construction industry in South Africa. SSA promotes the interests of all sawmillers in South Africa and provides a formal voice on behalf of the Sawmilling sector in respect of any issue which bears upon the interests of sawmillers.
