During 2005 a shelf company was bought and renamed and all business activities were resumed within the company. We have now been providing Project related services for the past 16 years on Automation Projects ( Greenfield and Brownfield Projects) in the Power Generation and Utilities industry. Project Execution risk identification and mitigation formulation. VCOPP has developed an approach to the management of projects that has proven to be successful to the extent where all projects that were handled by VCOPP from start to finish have concluded at higher margins than planned. We formulate and implement the required systems for the management of any project ensuring that Quality, Planning, Financial Control, Subcontractor Control and Safety Management form an integrated whole that complies with the Contractual and Scope requirements. The aforesaid creates the base from which the project can be managed in a manner that optimise resource usage, minimise risk and maximise oportunities. The general experience is that the above ensures closure of the project within the time, cost and quality constraints. Clearly and logically displays the project implementation methodology. While most companies have good quality systems in place, these quality systems very seldom extend beyond the activities in the office and/or workshops thereby leaving a void with regard to the quality management and control relating to the project specific activities and requirements. VCOPP will formulate and compile your Project Quality Plan, Procedures, Quality Control Plans, Inspection and Test Plans and related Check Sheets as dictated by the Project Scope and the associated activities. We provide the quality system in a manner that follows a logic and user friendly structure, is made freely available to all concerned in the organisation or project team while protecting the integrity of all documents forming part of the system. Smaller companies that do not have the developed quality systems in place would derive a substantial benefit from this service. The lack of Management of the Project within the boundaries of the Conditions of Contract is an area where most project execution risk is found. VCOPP will manage your project strictly within the boundaries of the Conditions of Contract by ensuring contractual discipline during the execution of the project. VCOPP can otherwise assist your Project Manager in the formulation of strategies and/or procedures and processes that will ultimately ensure contractual discipline. VCOPP provides assistance during tender phase in the identification of Risk pertaining to Contractual, Technical and Implementation aspects of the enquiry. Recommendations are made regarding the mitigation and/or negation of rsik so identified. Compilation of Tender stage Project Plan, FRI and other schedules as required.
